What We Do
The Suryodaya Seva Sanstha is an non-profit organization with a mission to provide children from low-income communities with a high-quality education, enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their lives. Started in the year 2013, Suryodaya Seva Sanstha has educated children from low-income communities across Mumbai, through our continuous efforts and working. Suryodaya Seva Sanstha is also working on women's welfare program by giving them employment and training. Recently Suryodaya Seva Sanstha has organized the bags manufacture program and helped many unemployed and needy women to earn their penny and gave a chance to be an self sustained.

Community Food Project
At Suryodaya Seva Sanstha, we believe no one should go hungry. Through our Annadan project, we provide free, healthy meals to the underprivileged. In Indian tradition, feeding the hungry is considered the greatest form of charity - a way to serve both humanity and the divine. Food is a basic need, and sharing it is a powerful act of kindness. Whether it’s a regular day, a festival, or a special occasion, every meal served brings hope, happiness, and blessings. Join hands with us in this noble cause. Because feeding one hungry person is like serving all of creation.
Community Nutrition Project
Good nutrition during pregnancy is key to a healthy mom and a healthy baby. Sadly, many women from low-income families don’t get the right nutrients, leading to serious health risks for both mother and child. At Suryodaya Seva Sanstha, we support 100 pregnant women by giving them nutrition kits filled with sattu, moong, chana, rice, dates, peanuts, and jaggery. These simple, wholesome foods can help prevent complications like anemia and low birth weight. With this project, we aim to reduce infant deaths and support safe, healthy pregnancies - one kit at a time.
Diwali Celebration with Orphan Children
Spreading Light, Love & Laughter
Diwali, the festival of lights, is a time to share joy, compassion, and togetherness. This year, we celebrated Diwali in its true spirit — by lighting up the lives of children at the orphanage.
The celebration was filled with smiles, colors, and warmth. From decorating diyas and making rangolis to bursting safe crackers and enjoying delicious sweets, the children were immersed in the festive cheer. Gift hampers, new clothes, and toys were distributed, bringing sparkle to their eyes and happiness to their hearts.
Volunteers and donors came together to organize fun activities, games, and performances, making the day truly memorable. The joy on the children’s faces reminded us that festivals become more meaningful when shared with those who need love and care the most.
Let this Diwali inspire us to continue spreading light in the lives of the underprivileged — not just for a day, but all year round.

Smile - School Uplift Project
At Suryodaya Seva Sanstha, we believe every child deserves a safe, clean, and modern place to learn. Our school redevelopment project transforms old buildings into smart, student-friendly spaces with digital classrooms, clean toilets, safe drinking water, and better accessibility for all, including differently-abled children. By upgrading schools, we boost learning, attendance, and confidence — creating a brighter future for every child.
