The importance of quality education cannot be ignored in today's cut throat competitive scenario. Education at grass-root level is the need of the hour! Slum children are unable to study due to lack of financial resources. India's education statistics paint a grim picture. Moreover, education for orphans is a serious concern. Unfortunately, orphans are left to fend for themselves. Providing education to orphans is the inspiration behind Project 'Shiksha'.

Suryodaya Seva Sanstha with the aim of transforming underprivileged women into independent, confident and contributing members of their societies. It does so through its livelihood interventions namely skill training, work training,linking groups to market and by also hiring them to manufacture eco-friendly bags.
Suryodaya Seva Sanstha believes that women empower not only themselves but create a ripple of change and transformation for their families and communities around them. Their focus is women from marginalized communities who need support to make a living. Depending on the level of skill sets with the women, the livelihood support is provided. The livelihood programmes focuses on capacity building, fostering community links and promoting small businesses.
The social enterprise opened a platform for discussing issues regarding the elderly and soon a need for a social organisation emerged.Taking on this gaping need Suryodaya Seva Sanstha stepped to address the micro and macro level issuesof the elderly to create an Elder Friendly World .Suryodaya Seva Sanstha an Ngo (not for profit)was established since August 2014to work with Senior Citizens (55+).
All our programmes are focussed on creating and implementing services and programmes rhat are holistic in nature and address the need to acknowledge the much needed supportive environment that the elderly deserve .It looks at reintegrating the elderly into mainstream society abd allowing them to live with dignity.
We at Suryodaya Seva Sanstha are passionate about making the world a better place to live in. We're starting with taking a small step in ridding this world from plastic. We at Suryodaya Seva Sanstha manufacture customize eco friendly cloth bags which helps us to give employment to womens and many other needy people.
The amount we earn from selling this eco friendly bags is been donated to child education and to woman who help us to manufacture this customize eco friendly cloth bags.
